Nighttime Wonders: Amphibians After Dark
Tuesday, March 11 from 6 - 8 pm or Friday March 28 from 6 - 8 pm
$45 per child. Grades 3 - 5
12 children maximum
Come and experience Woodcock Nature Center after dark in this special drop-off program for 3-5th graders!
Educators will lead students on a night hike, along which we will look for and learn about amphibians that are
more active in the evening. We'll listen and look for frogs by our vernal pools and search for salamanders
underneath logs and on the forest floor. Upon returning from our hike we will gather around a campfire and
make s’mores before heading home!
